Our Mission

At ACDC, our mission is to provide high-quality diagnostic and behavioral evaluations designed for families who need clear answers—delivered efficiently and accessibly in underserved communities. Early diagnosis is the key that unlocks the early intervention services children with neurodevelopmental delays need. Parents seeking a diagnosis outside of the metro areas of Florida are often faced with 12-18 month waiting lists for an initial consult that can be further delayed by insurance pre-authorization and referral requirements. Then, after waiting, may find that their diagnostic report does not meet all of the insurance requirements to authorize services. For a very young child needing early intervention services, every week delayed sets them further behind their peers. When a pediatrician identifies an 18-month-old toddler who needs a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, but the toddler has to wait until his fourth birthday to get a diagnosis, the system has failed that family. Our mission at Autism Comprehensive Diagnostic Consulting is to be part of the solution to the bottleneck.
